What is my money going towards?
Funds from the campaign will be used to manufacturer the batpacks, as well as paying for samples of the stretch goal designs, manufacturing all the add on merch, paying our distributor for their services, and handling any taxes and fees that arise with the project. How is payment collected? When will I be charged?
After the conclusion of the campaign, your card will be charged for the full pledge amount (this can sometimes take up to two weeks). For shipping, you will be given a backer survey that will allow you to pay for your shipping fee separately from your pledge! You will be able to pay via card using Stripe.

When will I receive my rewards?
Our current estimate for the manufacturing process is that rewards will begin shipping as early as spring 2025. This accounts for the length of the sampling & manufacturing process, the availability of our distributor, and potential delays that may arise with holidays, factory errors, etc. Any significant delay past this time frame will be communicated to backers promptly.

How is shipping calculated?
We will be using Backerkit’s built in system for calculating weight-based shipping according to the total items you will be receiving with your pledge. Shipping fees are NOT included with your pledge; they will be added on at the end of the campaign, when you receive your backer survey via the pledge manager. Please keep this in mind when choosing your pledge tier!

How do I choose which batpack to get? What if the design I want isn't funded?
You will be able to pick which batpack designs you want included with your pledge when you fill out your backer survey at the end of the campaign. If the design you were hoping to get doesn’t reach it’s goal unlock amount before the campaign ends, you’re always welcome to cancel your tier any time before 9/30/24!

I can't afford to support the campaign now, will there be a way for me to purchase a batpack later?
Yes! Our pre-order store will remain open even after the conclusion of the campaign, and batpacks will eventually be added to my online store as a regular product. Please keep in mind, though, that campaign exclusive rewards will ONLY be available if you pledge during the campaign period, 9/1/24 - 9/30/24.

How long do I have to fill out my survey?
You fill have until November 14th, 2024 to fill out your survey information, but we recommend doing so ASAP. You will have until January 2025 to make edits to your answers/shipping address.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
By submitting this survey & paying for my additional add-ons and shipping, I agree that I've read and understood that my items are not expected to ship until SPRING 2025. Any delays in shipping or manufacturing will be communicated to me promptly by the project organizer. I have double checked that all the information I've provided is true & correct. I understand that once packages have been shipped out, mistakes made by the shipping courier are not in the project organizer's control and claims must be submitted to the courier directly.
