BATPACKS: Wearable Nocturnal Companions

good morning everyone, it's the dawn of day 3 of batpacks and i have amazing news! we've now successfully funded the vampire bat bag!



i know this guy was the one a lot of you wanted, so it makes me super happy to know that we unlocked him!

alongside the vampire bat, we've also unlocked our other 20k goal, which is to include a free copy of the campaign exclusive sticker & pin with every pledge!



if you've already included the sticker/pin as an add-on, you can either change your add-on choices in your backer survey or choose to keep em and just get multiple copies instead! either one!

our next goal is the lovely little cupid bat -- let's make some progress towards them today! thank you so much everyone!!!

hey ya'll! i just wanted to thank you all so much for the incredible success on the launch day of the campaign -- can you believe we already have a whole third of our designs unlocked?? there's still a long way left to go to get every single design unlocked, but i think we can do it!!



our next target is the all-black vampire bat! a LOT of you are really looking forward to this little guy, so lets try to push to get him funded by the end of the day!

did you know that youre allowed to change your pledge level after the end of the campaign? once surveys are sent out, you're allowed to change your pledge tier one time if you decide you want to switch to something else!

for example, if you decide to join my ko-fi club during the month and want to switch to the discounted pricing tier, you're totally able to! and if you join during this month, this sweet lil imp bat sticker is one of the rewards you'll receive! (for sticker club tier & higher)

owowow!!! I can't thank you all enough for an amazing start to the campaign -- we reached our initial funding goal in just over ten minutes, and we've already unlocked the next stretch goal, the honduran white bat!

I'm both amazed & deeply honored to see so many people be excited for the batpacks -- our next goal is dreamy bat, and I truly believe we can get there by the end of the day!

I do want to discuss some of the frustrations I've heard so far regarding the early bird tier spots. I've had a few people tell me that Backerkit showed spots available but then didn't allow them to check out, and when they checked back, those spots were gone. I'm really really sorry about any frustrations that may have caused -- by my calculations, tier 1 spots sold out in literally 30 seconds, and some orders just end up processing faster than others. :(

If I could offer everyone early bird spots, I would! But offering them at those prices isn't sustainable in the long run, hence the limited spots. But this experience has been a great learning experience for me when it comes to how I handle early bird tier spots going forward!

hey ya'll!! we are SO close to the start of the project, and i am so so so SO excited!! i wanted to share a few things prior to the start of the campaign: first, that our initial goal is going to be $5000 USD.

if our main goal is funded, every additional 5k raised after that will be used to unlock a new batpack design, up to 9 total designs! you can see the planned unlock tiers here:

please keep this in mind when selecting your pledge tier, and that you'll only be able to choose designs that are unlocked over the course of the campaign! with any luck, though, we'll be able to unlock every design and not have to worry about it :,D

additionally, i've set up an FAQ page with information to review prior to the campaign launch! please give it a look if there's anything you're confused about.

howdy yall! as of just an hour or so ago, backerkit staff have completed their review process for the project and we are GOOD TO GO!! 

we've also received confirmation from our distributor for our estimated shipping dates & confirmed unit price and estimated quantities with our bag manufacturer. things are lining up perfect and we're all set to start off strong on sunday morning! 💪

now, all that's left to do is to finish a few tweaks on the campaign page itself. three days to go until batpacks, everyone! 🦇
